This was an excellent chapter! The emotions were so palpable. The whole story has been such an enjoyable read thus far. Very well done! I look forward to more.

Sorry I didn\'t review until I finished what you\'ve written. (Chapter 6) Absolutely could NOT stop.
I adore all the characters and really enjoy the \'first-person\' narration. Probably the best I\'ve ever read. If you publish - on paper, or somewhere one has to pay - I\'ll definitely buy the privilege.
Excellent story! (And I\'m betting there\'s no magic involved with the physical attraction.)

Ooooh, fun. *smirk* Now that...is what I call a cool chapter. xD \"All right, Lark, time to remove our clothes,\"...I swear I burst out laughing. Just imagining Lark\'s expression was all the fun in the world. Then of course the \"Do you need assistance\" line...muahahahahaha....yes! Much assistance! xD Sowwy, sowwy...I\'m going crazy.
I continue to find it amazing all the detail you have ingrained into this story and its magics. Not only the descriptions you use when describing your lovely characters (and I particularly liked Sactaren\'s minor confrontation with the Green Mage by the way...), but just the creatures, and the spells and the things Sactaren uses...it\'s all...wow. I know you said you read a book on like Wicca before...but still. Your imagination must most definitely be applauded. (If nothing else you have a terribly creative way of getting your mage to put his hands on every part of Lark\'s body without them actually \'doing\' anything.)
I, for one, have decided that I never want to go on a mission to catch a Salamander...I don\'t care how many pretty mages rub icky cream all over me...the explanation about the one little tiny spot that was missed...*shudder* Anyway. Yeah. I loved it! I was hanging on for every word and soooo dreading the end. The next chapter should be interesting...(not like they aren\'t all)...but I\'m looking forward to actually meeting this salamander. Keep up the good work! I can\'t wait for the next chap, whatever that entails!
(P.S. And thank you so much for reviewing! You\'ve no idea how happy it makes me to get such lovely reviews from truly talented authors. ^^) Until next time!

\"I know what I\'m doing...\" xD *giggle* Sorry...Sactaren\'s just cool like that. *smirk* ANYway...chapter\'s as great as ever! But this show BETTER NOT GET CANCELLED!! T___T You have to go at LEAST one season...(and if you go based off of ratings, it seems to me that this thing will meet it\'s end FAR before the fans die off...[end of story that is]). \"That should work...\" How many things \'should\' work, but don\'t? xD Sorry...again...I have ABSOLUTE faith in the Traxen mage...but still...Lark\'s reactions to his comments/actions continue to make me giggle. ^-^
Once again, I\'m loving your story, writing, everything...and I want more! I do hope that your work doesn\'t get TOO much in the way of an update...cause I can\'t wait! I am ever anxious for your next addition, and this time is no different! Every time I see you update, I jump on it...but as I read, I\'m forever dreading coming to the end of what you\'ve written. :gonk: I\'m a terribly impatient person, if you haven\'t guessed... :domo: But I\'m willing to wait as long as it takes for whatever you have next! (But that doesn\'t mean dawdle...rawr.) So please post soon and keep up with the terrific work!
Oh, and as for the Wicca and witchcraft thing...that\'s cool. I had a feeling you knew what you were talking about...but you still obviously have a terrific imagination. ^^ Thanks for answering my question. (c:

Personally I think this would do best as a book. It seems to me they would be a little incomplete without having each chapter following the previous, but that\'s only my opinion.
As for this chapter. I absolutely loved it. Lord Sactaren is truly captivating. I can\'t wait to learn more about that man. And I\'m sure Lark still has plenty of secrets that have yet to be revealed as well. Good job =)

Great work! Again, I\'m amazed by your seemingly effortless ability to evoke this world. Your decriptions of how hot it was in the tower room made me start to sweat! (Okay, it\'s also nearly 100 degrees outside, but that\'s what I get for living in Texas...) And your two main characters have so much depth and complexity to them -- they truly seem like real people. I particulary liked Lord Sactaren pointing out the scar on his mouth, and talking about how our imperfections are what make us beautiful. Very cool.
To me, it seems like making this a novel has several advantages. In a short story, you have assume the reader hasn\'t seen anything else by you, and that forces you to re-establish everything about your world and characters each time. The more complex your setting, and the more complex your character relations, the more of a hassle that becomes. But then, everything I write turns into a novel, so it\'s possible that I\'m biased. Either way, good luck!
Love,
Falcon

I would totally buy this book/short story. xD *nod nod* Your writing is definitely up to par...not only is it intelligent and well put together, but it really grabs the attention and keeps a person reading. As you said, having it posted already will likely reduce your chances slightly, but I think your idea of slight modification and editing could work just fine. And even IF you, for some reason, can\'t get this particular story sold (which would surprise me), your writing is obviously good enough to sell, and I\'m sure you could come up with something else to put on the market.
You have no idea how relieved I am, though, that you\'ll keep posting this. I swear I love this story, and all its characters, and don\'t know what I\'d do if you decided to quit on us! This chapter was terrific as ever...and your descriptions of all the magical creatures, potions, and remedies is amazing...do you come up with it all on your own, or do you have some sort of backrground or reference of some sort? Regardless, it\'s terrific. I jumped on it as soon as I saw the update and read with fascination the whole way through. The idea that the mage has hidden scars...that you can\'t see but can still feel...is cool. And I near burst out laughing in the middle of night (cause I read it last night but felt far too tired then to give you a proper review), when I read the \'every time you...\"please me\"...\' line. xD Hilarious. I can\'t wait to see what Lark does next to \'please him\'. (c;
So far, I\'m absolutely loving it! I\'m waiting (terribly impatiently I might add) for your next update. Hope you post more soon! ^_^
