Well guys, the rule of the 1st cousins illegel marriage is in the U.S and this story doesn't take place in America. Besides there's something else that I don't think I should explain right now :)

Ok, by your description, Jake slept with Merry. Merry had Cairo's mother. Which would make Jake Cairo's GREAT grandfather. Which still makes them 2nd cousins. Which is still sort of gross.

Okay maybe it is gross and maybe it's not. Cairo is not happy about it and Adam only wants to do so because he doen't want to lose his inharitance. And again I'm telling you; you'll find out later something that will change your mind. It's still in the beginning!

This is a good story so far, but unless you want this to be a story about two first cousins who fall in love, you should change that part of the story. See, even though adam's grandfather had a child with another woman and that woman who grows up to have Cairo, they are still first cousins. Unless that is Cairo's great-grandfather or something like that, then they would be second cousins. I did really think about it before writing this. Update soon.

Hi,
The story is okay so far except that it is pretty confusing. I mean how could they marry when they share the same grandfather. Wouldn't that make them 1st cousins. I think you should make it clear they are/not related. Other then that I hope you finish this story as I have read everything you have on this site and I have loved all of them.
