It's not easy to write in this "first person, chat" style. Those who do it well, make it look easy, which in turn encourages others to copy that style. What those who copy end up with is something that comes off as a pale copy.

Yeah, this is realistic. Yup, they always let teenagers do peepshows and show them in legitimate businesses. Why, just the other day, I was noticing that child pornography is *perfectly legal.* Sorry, ain't buying it.
