Thank you Kolgrim for this story. It was deeply touching and it made me want to cry at the unfairness of the world. I don't know what else I could tell you, it was just ... beautiful. Thank you.

That ending was so sad... It made me hurt. You are an amazing author, and you need to keep writing no matter what. Don't let talent like yours go to waste.

Awww, how sad =3 Great job though.
As for the sequel, I wouldn't mind leaving things the way they are, but I would also read the sequel should you come out with one. So either way, your decision ^^

I'm crying right now.
The delicate intricacies and heart-reding twists and turns of this plot kept me on bated breath until the last word. Your incredible story held me throughtout its dips of tragedy, love, and defeat.
Amazing.
As far as constructive criticism goes, your grammar was occasionally questionable and half of the places you used commas were more deserving of semicolons and vice versa in a few circumstances. You did a wonderful job, but I believe your work would be much more striking (as well as flawless) if you were to find yourself a beta. I mean no disrespect (you write in a way I can only dream of), but your talents would be much more accentuated if the more basic typos and errors of sentence structure were fixed.
Best wishes,
-Buttercup

Hi, Kolgrim. This fic was very hard to review. I don't read WW2 fiction or watch movies on that subject matter because I was overexposed to it a long time ago . I've made this exeption for you sinse you have written 'Silent' and are one of my favorite autors on AFF. Well... This is the second time ever that Fan Fiction made me cry, the first time being ' Wishes are for Dreamers' written by Yih on Fanfiction.net eons ago.
You are absolutely an amazing writer, dear Kolgrim, to have this kind of power! I don't know how you come up with those brilliant storylines and how it is even possible to have the storyline flow in such captivating and natural way. Whatever Muse you got in your posession you better do anything in your power not to lose it. Pity I can't read in Finnish.
The 'Silent victims of the war' does deserve a sequel, but I am not going to just outright demand it. I need a little brake from sadness so am going now to reread Love and broken heart's , all 9 chapters you've posted so far, it is light and happy comparing and will put me in a better mood. (crying again)
Thank you so much for writing, Dear Kolgrim and I will read Anything posted by you Always!

I think your ending was perfect. For a moment I feared Alexander would kill himself too, but the still needs to take care of Elias' last wishes so I'm glad he won't. I think maybe this last chapter is the most beautiful of them all. It's so very real and painful, you can actually feel his grief. Coincidentally my cat, who I've had for 15 years is dying, so I really am in the mood for tears rather then happy endings. Thank you very much for writing this story.
