This was a great beginning to what i'm sure will be a very good story. I like that you went in depth with the characters and how he felt when meeting her. I hope you continue.

I'll be honest- he's a little bit of a pansy, this guy protagonist but that may be just my impression b/c no guy is really that...emotionally aware. However, i like the style and I have a feeling with your great descriptions that the lemons will be good. looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks for all the kind reviews! I wanted to just point out that while he does appear to be a "pansy" (and after careful inspection I agree with you), you must consider that he is telling a story. It is sort've like a letter. To be blunt; the "James" who is telling the story- is a much older, much more adult James then the one who is going to be developing throughout the story.

After the second story you will see a direct POV switch to Omniscient. It's this way so that the beginning of the story is not under appreciated. This event- Elizabeth's tragic loss of her father- affects their relationship so much- it's amazing really- I cannot wait to write it for you.

I'm glad you enjoy the story thus far- I look forward to hearing from all of you again in the future!
