It just amazes me how you weave this all together. Another great chapter. Oh I like the idea of Sylvia and Nicholas being a couple after the birthing. I hope they will find some happiness together. :)
Thanks for posting.

*phew* So at least Nicholas isn't gonna stay vampire...(at least not completely...cause he's only mostly human now right? ^^;) When Sylvia asks Kale what he wants first, the good news or the bad news...his reply was perfect...it made me happy. ^^ And poor Sylvia...she sacrifices so much...but then again I suppose I shouldn't feel pity. The way you describe how she gives away pieces of herself...and feels more complete each time...that really made an impression. It shows how much each of them all mean to her and in a way...I think most of us can relate to that very feeling one way or another.
The dream scared me...not meant in a bad way it was just so....vivid. I could really picture everything...see the decay, hear the rats, almost smell the putrid odors and...*shudder* Those are the worst sort of nightmares for me....and then finding all the dead bodies of his friends...and the baby. Oh the baby...poor Nicholas. I really feel for them all...and even Pepper has nothing to say at the end...only holding him tighter. It all fits together and the emotion is everywhere. Your writing, as always, is perfectly awesome. ^^
Waiting for an update again! ^^; (Oh, and Kale thanking Sylvia for the first time ever...that was awesome too...^_^)

A brave sacrifice by Sylvia! Giving up her own blood to revive Nicholas. And I liked your sentence on how she became more complete each time she gave something of her's away. Very touching.
The nightmare was also horrible for one to imagine. Very vivid and such destruction... I wonder if that angel was really the agent? Well it seems that Nicholas is ok, let's just hope that dream he had is really just a dream and not a message of something more disaterous to come...
Relationships have two things in common. Sacrifice and Compromise. Giving up something to put priorities in order... and being able to work together to make things happen. In this wierd family picture, we are gonna need alot of both.

@10 Excellent turn of events. But kind of weird. You have me totally mystified. I could throttle Marzi for not following Kale's order to stay in his room. By the way, did Kale heave Nick over his shoulder and carry him WITHOUT HIS PANTS ON across an entire floor filled with oglers? I seem to remember Cassie taking Nick's pants off. I'm going to re-read ch9 now.

Dum dum dum! *plays dramatic music in the background*
Wow this royally sucks for them huh? Just one problem after another... And yet somehow, it's all gonna work together in a way we wouldn't except. At least that's what I think. Ahh, love the smell of new chapters in the morning... smells like... coffee and cake with a scoop of ice cream on the side...
Don't keep us waiting too much!
Snidne, out.

Aaah! Oh gosh...ooooh...*takes deep breath* Ok. I am determind to turn this into a decent review...but I'm so bursting with anxious energy now ! Ok...first off...the entire chapter had me absolutely bubbling with excitement...literally on the edge of my seat...it was wonderful! Resisting the urge to immeadiately complain about it being over...I'll start from the beginning.
The whole scene with Kale and the groceries...(my mind had a fit trying to imagine the great Kale holding groceries by the way...xD)...I thought it was awesome though. Finally another bitsy bit of Kale and Marzi! WITHOUT Pepper or Nicholas! (Not that Pepper or Nicholas are bad...I just miss Kale/Marzi soooo much...*dramatic sigh*). Please, please, please don't tell me you're gonna hurt Marzi...we already know we're gonna loose Pepper...but at least we'll have her daughter...don't get rid of Marzi when he finally gets a chance at a proper relationship...(or as close as two part-deamons will ever get to a 'proper' relationship...[we did discover that Marzi had some deamon in him before, right? ^^;]). Anyway...I feel I'm rambling. The part about Aryeh and his "divine ability to kiss God’s ass" was hilarious. xD Loved it.
And yay! Kale saved Nicholas! Well...sort of...I got the whole 'heroic rush' feeling when he smashed the chair and went after the vampire. Terrific excitement...but now we have Pepper's poor innocent beloved turning into a vampire himself! Noooo! :gonk: Poor Pepper...she's got so much to worry about...Nick's just as bad...the two of them are so in love in a relationship doomed to eternal problems and interference. T_T I can't wait to see what happens! ^_^

Right...now I've read everything you've written. And it's all of it - every last word - gorgeous. Thanks so much for making my last two nights sleepless, but full of lovely fantasy, and beautiful men. It was an extraordinary experience. Thankfully, I can go to bed now, secure in the knowledge that you'll reward my unfailing devotion with another perfect chapter. Soon, I hope. ;)

Oh No! I was hoping that Sylvia would be able to do something to help Nicholas, yet from her reaction, it sure doesn't seem likely. Just want to say I'm glad that Cassie is out of the picture.
Their child is going to have such a strange and confusing family. :) Thanks for the excellent chapter and all your hard work.

descriptive passages: the stardust in her eyes.. the grouchy grump...the betrayal, all masterfully written, with every detail down pat, every sensation shared. I was there, man. I was there. Wow. I had to gulp it back. Oh, what agony. and I just have this funny feeling of foreboding, I don't know how you do this, but I think somethings up with Marzi...Where are you Kale!
