I can't believe no one has reviewed this fic. Pleasantly surprised. The imagery is nice, straightforward. Reminds me of Vonnegut, hope you don’t take offence. Comparison is the best way I can comment most times. I’m a fan of the dark twist. This has subtlety, useful information slipped in nonchalantly. I enjoyed the use of metaphor and simile, so often cast to the wayside nowadays. Very nice, thank you for sharing it.
