Oh, the plot thickens! I was desperatly hoping to see some sort of resolution or understanding reached at the end of this chapter, but you decided not to deliver. I guess that I will just have to wait anxiously for the next installement. Damn LOL!

This was a good chapter, short but loaded with suspence. You've made your characters flesh and blood people who garner the reader's interest and sympathy. I can feel Maggie's confusion and sadness, and I can also understand from where Mr. C's grief and bitterness stems.

But I must step forward and ask if you're daring to insult the succulent Mr. B ;)?
