This is an excellent beginning. I love this world/universe you have created. Ichi and his pet, their interaction is just so ...cute. I look forward to the next update.

Awe! So far an incredible story! Makes me wonder just how this all came about. I love the idea of letting genetic manipulation go this far. It seems plausible, what with the strangeness of humanity. People just do the oddest things with what technology allows them to. To make a creature that looks like a human (or is?) into something else, seems like just the thing someone might go and do.

I\'ve especially enjoyed the concept of the different people. The Avalonians and Ichi\'s growing in a lab, the backdrop of the conflict between a large population of humans and those who had the goods but not the drive for more. I certainly had to cheer for the planet that they\'d managed how to defend themselves! Yay for them!

Also, beautiful job with the verbage and the discourse. You\'ve really outdone yourself with this one!

I seriously cannot wait to read the next chapter! Yee! It\'s going to only get better from here!
