I actually screamed (yes, screamed) my happiness when finding the newest chapter of Perseverance. It's good I'm at home and not in any public place, although it IS in the middle of a night, erm. Anyway, I'm so glad you finally updated this story, I've been banging my fist at the table the last ten months or so haha. So THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

So, obviously the scene was erotic as hell (the only thing I didn't like that much were the cliché phrases like "oh ym god...oh yes", thought I'd point that out although it's not that big of deal), and as some earlier reviewer already mentioned I also preferred they didn't confess some kind of undying love for each other. That just wouldn't be Reilly, at least not yet. I'm looking forward to Reilly confronting his feelings in more depth. Hopefully it will happen gradually and realistically although I'm sure this will hurt Dainton emotionally, the tough and stubborn little bastard that R is. :P But I do like boys who act like BOYS in slash, especially if it's a bit macho, so I adore him.

Oh and I loved the jealousy Reilly felt, I'm a sucker for things like that. But Dainton really should get to know that he did NOT lose his virginity for John. Actually I expected him to freak out a little more about that. We do lose our virginities only once.

So, I can only hope you will update again soon and continue with this story until it is finished. It has become one of my all time favorite, it really is addictive.

right when my teens began, my mother's alcoholism flared out of control and simultaneously my sister developed horrible drug habits. your potrayal of how a handicap in a relative places a burden on the child in the family is EXACT. it's so real, especially the arguments about it, that when i read your current chapters i genuinely hope you're not writing from your own personal experience. but i just wanted to let you know that, as someone who relates very deeply to one of your characters, i know you understand exactly what it was like, whether you went through it yourself or not. that's a very powerful effect for an author to have, in my opinion. your writing is extremely amazing in its realism. i hope to see the story continued :)

OMFG! You updated! I thought you'd forgotten about this wonderful fic - which would have been a shame. Anyways... extremely hot scene, I'm so looking forward to Ry and Dain's further relationship! Please keep on writing ^_^

*can't see over the noise of own cheering* Awesome! I've been excitedly (but patiently ^_^) waiting for an update to perserverance! Woo-hoo! And Ry and Dain finally messed around for real! Picture perfect, they are just so adorable in that early, awkward stage...I hope they progress further, they are just too cute together not to be a couple. This definately tops my charts for original fiction; certainly not fluffy, angsty, pretty damn realistic! Excellent, I'm really looking forward to more from you guys! Keep up the outstanding work!

It's dissappointing that you haven't updated this story. Being so dedicated and building a fan based, only to disregard the plot when it was starting to get interesting_ it's irresponsible.

I miss this story so much, I keep checking for the updates but it never seem to happen :( Perseverance is my favorite story on this site, and it's already in my heart. It's such a shame if we will never know what happens. This story really is too good to forget. Awesome characters, you can really feel what they feel for each other.
