Thanks for the reviews, I appreciate the advice and encouragement! Thx blue I see that I do need to include more descriptions. This is my first fictional work so your advice isnt\' wasted on me :) If i ever do decide to finish this and write it as a novel (only 70-80,000 more words to go in that case!) this will of course, be a first draft.
Yes the \'debauchery\' I had planned on showing a bit of later in the story...although it\'s obvious it won\'t really be the doings of Emily or Jonathan, as that would be very out of character especially for their class and time, but the rougher set of characters...
I had a rough idea of how teh story will go but now I am trying to plan out something detailed so everything will fit in well and I can foreshadow effectively.

This is really wonderfully written! The characters are fantastic and seem real, and I am getting really antsy waiting for their first real encounter. Heheheee...please keep writing, I\'m loving it!

As I said before, I hoped you would manage to cature the naivety & debauchery of this era and you certainly have, as far as the naivety it concerned. I\'m eagerly awaiting how well you do with the debauchery - but don\'t rush it, the story is unfolding beautifully. The characters are superb, although I would like to see some more scene setting, you know desciptions of attire, surroundings & such, it\'s part of what makes a period piece successful. Continue on regardless, as I said, you write the chapters, I\'ll post the reviews ;D

Wow, great story, I agree with you agout this period, incredibly romantic, also a curious mixture of naivety & debauchery, I hope you mange to include that as well in furture chapters. I hope indeed that there are future chapters, I promise to read and review, if you promise to continue writing!

Thanks guys! I just added ch. 4. WOW getting reviews and having readers realllly helps me to push on and keep writing this story. The first chapter sat for a month before I touched it again...Now i just can\'t seem to stop working on it!
Blue: funny you mention the naitivte and debauchery, there\'s a little mention of it in the latest chapter.

By the way, that little book Jonathan and Emily talk about is a real one from that era. I will try to make this story as authentic as possible..
