That was the sweetest story I ever read on this site. Well written and involving too. Well Done.

That was a nice, quick update. You are too cruel leaving us on another cliffhanger! How are Pepper and Marzi going to get out of this? Marzi is just absolutely baffling! Doesn\'t it bother him that he\'s drinking blood and eating raw flesh? Does he have no sense of natural curiosity and it doesn\'t occur to him to wonder where they come from? Why is he so complacent about everything Kale tells him? It just seems like such a waste, because as Pepper says he has so much of his own type of magic.

The descriptions of what he\'s going through were so evocative. Very painful to read. I hate how presumptious Kale is about magic being Marzi\'s. Surely if it were his birthright then it would have been passed on to him? But it wasn\'t, so there must be a good reason for that and he\'s just putting Marzi in needless danger. Stupid Kale. Thank you for that address; I\'ll go and look at your friends story to see what I can find out about the enigmatic James. Please, please update soon.

Talk about a cliffhanger! Your note at the start was a relief, but I\'m still so scared for Pepper. I wonder if she\'d kept James\' amulet if she\'d be safe. Pepper is so forgiving; Kale\'s very right about Pepper being a \"good woman\"-if a half-demon was about to cut a piece of my heart out to feed to my idiot brother who had already drunk down two cups of my blood unquestioningly, I would be cursing him so hard our great-grandparents would hear it! I thought it was a realistic detail thet Pepper didn\'t know what a \'renter\' was, it shows how removed she is from that type of life and it was a very low blow by Kale. Are we going to be seeing James anytime soon? I hope your friend Queenie will lend him back to this story again because I really want to know more about him!

You\'re such a great writer and this story is so addictive. Please update soon.

OK, stop the nonsense! I stayed up past my bedtime to read this story! And then you leave me on a cliffie (visions of the author in Pepper\'s place while a blade come hurtling towards their heart)?!! I...you...AAARGH! This is so unfair! PLEASE UPDATE SOON! (wonderful story, by the way...)

Thank you for reviewing my stories and leaving wonderful reviews. I nearly swallowed my tongue when it saw that you reviewed. I love Sugar Hearts, but was afraid I’d sound like an idiot if I reviewed. So here goes ^-^;
As strange as it sounds, I liked chapter Eight. You did an excellent job showing how in love and devoted Marzi is to Kale.
I’m eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

My god, Kale and Marzi\'s relationship is creepy! I actually find reading it very disturbing because it is so sad and frustrating to see someone behave as pathetically as Marzi does, the same way you get uncomfortable when you see someone you know in an unhealthy or damaging relationship but feel it\'s useless to say anything. It definitely compliments your ability as a writer that you articulate Marzi\'s thoughts and feelings well enough that the reader can see how he sees things even if we cannot understand it. I am very, very worried about Pepper considering the events of this chapter. Please update soon
