This is a very well-crafted story that I could see being turned into something on the shelves in your Favorite Big Box Bookstore if an early subplot gets added.

Anyway, I'm waiting for more. How long until Mina turns Dominic against Stephen, I wonder.

Scribe, we need more. It is creul to leave us hanging like this. Please, untie the knots my stomach is in. Please.

One thing that really annoys me about this story is Mina's attitude. She's just been kidnapped and raped, and instead of being smart about her situation, she's being stubborn and difficult. Why would she allow Dominic to stay and have his way with her when she could have just complied with Stephen and made Dominic leave? She needs to be smart and try to gain her captor's trust so that she can better escape. Cursing and yelling aren't going to help her escape. Unless she wants to be fully given over to Dominic (Which I don't want to see because I realy despise his character), she needs to start being smart.

I completely agree. It's time for an update!!! I have been checking everyday for an update from this story!! It's soooo good...I just can't help myself. Lol, you could say that this story is MY 'obsession'...hahaha...corny I know. But hey what can you do? OH, I know...update and I promise to stop being corny...how's that for a threat??

I know it's only been a week since you last posted a chapter, but I am sure that I can speak for a lot of readers in shamelessly begging for an update...!!!

Hey!! I love the speed that you're updating with!! I'm pretty much checking this story for updates everyday! I have no idea where you're going with this story with regards to Stephan and Mina...and possibly Dominic. I kind of like Dominic as a character...he just seems like an ass...Is it wrong that I love the bad guys?? Just a question, do all of the previous 'pets' kill themselves?? Or does Stephan kill them??

Anyways, keep up the great work!!

This is one hell of a good story. It has that horror/thriller feel to it when I read it. You know that knot in the stomach, don't want to go on because something is going to happen, but can't stop reading because you have to know what that something is.

Stephen is an enigma. He has traits of a sociopath, but then does things that completely contradict them. A true sociopath would not do anything to make his captive comfortable because they would not care about the captive. They only care about themselves. In his own sick way I think he does care about Mina, but his warped childhood didn't give him the proper ways to express that concern nor did it teach him how to properly weild the power he has.

Dominic scares me. I really don't like him. There is a ray of hope that I see. I can see him doing something even Stephen wouldn't approve of to Mina and paying the price for it. We can only hope.

I am happy you found those chapters and are updating this story since it is so good. Can we hope that you will also find some chapters to some of your other excellent stories and "Enlighten" us with updates to them. *hint, hint

Oh boy, Stephen and Dominic are sicker than I thought...*blech* Unless I read the chapter incorrectly, it seems that Hollarchuck is privy to everything as well. It figures. Poor Mina doesn't have a chance...

Anyway, great chapter! Now I'm off to read Chapter 24...*clapping my hands excitedly at the thought*

After reading this chapter, I see that there is no way in hell that Axel can save Mina in any way, shape or form. She will be stuck in her cage until Stephen gets tired of her and disposes of her. BTW, what *does* he do with the women/hiders that he's imprisoned? I don't believe we've ever been told that. However, since his estate is so vast, I'm sure there's a mass grave on the grounds somewhere.

I can't wait until you update again!! I'm loving every minute of this story!
