Interesting story. Though, Nicholas reminds me a bit of Sorrin, a vampire planeswalker in Magic The Gathering's lore. He was the lord of a plane called Innistrad, which was based on classic horror stories. He acted in his own way for his own means. When he realized humans would eventually be wiped out by vampires he even created the angel Avacyn to protect humans and keep the vampires from self destructing, though the vampires didn't see it that way and thought of him as a traitor for it. Avacyn would eventually get trapped in an artifact she created called the Helvault, meant to trap the demon Griselbrand. She was released by an unlikely person, Lilliana, who came looking for Griselbrand to kill him herself, not to save Avcyn and her angels.

Woot for reviewing ^_^ I haven't been to this site in a while so when I stumbled across your story, it made me wonder why. I enjoy how the story has a clean flow and how put together it is. My eyes are killing me but I couldn't tear myself away from the computer. I read 2 of your stories so far (maybe more?) and want to read more but my eyes won't let me (picky eyes >.< ) Anyways, I can't wait until you undate this one! Thanks for writting such an enjoyable story.
