WOW, that mostly sums it up nicely. I almost missed your story with the new title and all but when I found it I had to read it all in one sitting. I loved how you combined both POVs and still kept the original format. I really liked that you gave us more info on Chaucer's behavior and thoughs, now I understand him a little bit better. I still thinks he's a golden haired devil too ;-) I only wish I had one of my own *sighs* Dont keep us waiting too long for the next part.

loveeee this stroy, but i remember from the rebel and the general it was a lot umm more violent between the two of them, i was curious to know if it would be taking that road again. Also, are u ever going to explain exactly WHAT either side is fighting for? They both beleive so strongly in their side, yet we dont know exactly what is it theyre standing for. Just thought Id throw that in, update soon! ur the best!

I recently rediscovered this story again, its probably my fault since I usually only check the erotica/sex section of this site. I must say I\'m really loving this new format you have going on with this story. I am a fan of the original one and loved every chapter of it and I\'m still waiting for the third part of the story (hint, hint) I must say one thing thou, since you were using both POVs in this story I was hoping we\'d get more of an insight into Chaucers thoughs and motivations, like you do with Jeffersons. I for one would like to know about that side of him, we get hints of it but not enough to satisfy my curiosity. Dont get me wrong, you\'re an exellent writer and deserve all the credit you can get from your skills but since you did ask for contructive feedback I thought I should throw my 2 cents in. Keep up with your wondefull writing, you got one devoted fan in me and I promise to check up on this section more often ;-).

P.S.: Just dont keep us waiting to long for the 3rd part of the original story.

I like this story and it IS nice to have a depper understanding behind the characters thoughts and re/actions then you had given us in your previous story. That being said - with 30+ chapters dealing with the same characters in \'The Rebel and The General\' I feel like I already know them to a certian degree. Having to go back over the same story, told from a different angle, seems harder for me to plow through when all I am interested in is what happened to Chaucer and Jefferson AFTER the end of \'The Rebel and The General\' - if you could find a way to insert these new chapters within the older story it might clear up some confusion for those just discovering your wonderful, edgy storyline. These characters are incredible and you are smart to keeping writing with them - they are unique, colorful, and contain an amazing degree of depth and emotion. I, for one, would kill to know what happens to them and if the war is ever resolved. I am not sure if you are planning on writing a sequel (please, PLEASE!) but I think that it would be worth a shot just to see these characters continue to grow and develop.
Thanks for writing and for sharing it with us!

As much as I enjoyed \'The Rebel and the General,\' the more in-depth thought processes and dialouge in this version create a much more enjoyable piece.

Finally an update. First I enjoyed what you have up so far and look forward to more. Second I like how you have extended some of the scenes and added others, it adds much depth to the story and keeps the plot together very well.

Jefferson overall I love her determination to stare opposion in the eyes and never lose face. When I here her inner thoughts I love how she carefully considers every situation and thought. But even she has flaws which are important with any character. Try as she might she shows a little weekness. She is a well rounded character and one can really relate with her.

Caucher is a very interesting personality, if this story follows the other one. I enjoy his calmness to certain situations that present themselves. Like Jefferson he is a well rounded character. I would like to see more back ground information about him though.

Others: Kit/drapper, he seemes like some you would be friends with he is more loyal than others. Jousha and Adam: first off I love the pair of them, in the other story I wanted more abou them, a little more of them would be nice.

Story overall: I liked how you had the scenes change POV to each of them. Sorry for no really things to work on, I really couldn\'t find anything negative. Hoped this helped. Good luck on further writings, I look forward to reading more.
