It\'s been so long from last updating! Sorry to hear that you have such troubles! I hope everything will eventually get better. Feel the same way about myself and trying desperately to find a job. But it is not about me now, it\'s about your story! Oh No, I could not believe that Val is so easy manipulated. He saw actually what happened with Trist while he was in that hospital after shooting. Gavan will never forgive Val for his cousin. God! I feel devastated. Trist even didn\'t get yet over being so hard drugged in that hospital. I believe this band of doctors are working for that people who hunt for Trist and Eshe and others! I am very affraid for Trist\'s life! I hope Val will wake up and do something, he is Trist\'s guargian now for Christ\'s sake. Still have a hope that everything will be alright!

you have got to be kidding me...this better not be heading to trist being taken away...how sad!!! :(... i will just cry!!! val needs to kick some butt and save him!!

Val better have a damn good reason for turning into a shitty crud in the end of this last chapter. For him to trun his back on Trist when some one comes along and tells him he is just over tired and manipulated after all he has seen and learned is unforgivable. I do hope it is part of some plot Val has to get out of the situation they are in, if not, and he has fallen for what those doctors are telling him, his character is not worth the time I\'ve spent reading about him. Sorry, I get upset when people are not loyal, even when they are made up people in stories. I loose sympathy with people who are disloyal and I have a hard time being interested in what happens to them. For Val to feel manipulated by Trist at this point in the story is unreal, unless Val is a total weakling who follows only the easiest path, even when that path is a pathetic, bald faced lie. Of course, this may be the story you are writting, about a disgusting looser who has not the integrity to stand up for some one he cares about. This does not make this a bad story, nor does it make it any less well written, it just means it is not a story for me. You are still a very good writer and story teller, even if I don\'t happen to care for the content of the story.

I want to apologize for my last review. I had gone off the deep end. As you say, \"Durn real life.\" I have not had too many people stand up for me in my life and have had too many people who were suspose to be my \"friends\" just stand aside and let some one else attack me. So, the situation between Val and Trist at the end of the last chapter hit too close to home for me. Nomally, I would not have complained, but I seem to be having an extraordinarily bad week and unfortunately, I have taken it out on you. You are my favorite author and I do really enjoy reading everything you have written. I AM looking forward to your next update.

Ooooooooo, suspense!!! Please dont make me wait too long for the next update! What is going to happen to Trist and Val? What does the list mean? What about Gavan, Trist\'s brother? Is he still in danger? Ahhhhhhhh, the suspense is going to kill me!!

Lovely story. Great plot and all the characters well developed all with their own flows and yet sympatetic. You can definitely do with some beta going other it and correcting the typos and a bit of editing will help as well. With all the good reviews you shouldn\'t have a problem finding someone to do this for you, just send the word!

When I started reading this story, I figured, because its late I\'d read the first few chapters and, if I liked it, I\'d finish it in the morning. Goddamn if I haven\'t been sitting here for the past two hours, well past midnight, unable to turn off the computer and go to bed. SO. GOOD. The plot is interesting and I don\'t know whats going to happen 3 chapters in; the characters are refreshingly unique and not subject to any horribly cliche diatribes and theirs humor and romance and sex and an actual plot and GOD...I Am In Love.
