I normally don\'t go reading poems here but for some reason I felt I wanted to read this. I am glad I did. This is a beautiful piece of work. Spaces perfectly! Not too lomng nor too short. I can also see in my head a story as well. This poem convieves more then most fanfics here could wish.

Liked the image of the mermaid, really underscores her lonliness as a \'creature apart\' in the world. Very nice!
