wow, korde... i'm amazed by how universal the human experience can be, sometimes. i have a bit of prose i wrote when i was 16 called Pandora's Box... i can't believe how similar it is in feeling to your (character's) experience. i like the first person... you mentioned you were worried about that, but i find it very difficult to write in first person... it came across really really well.

I love it...I can really relate to this and that\'s what makes it so...great. Wonderful job.
