Very very sad chapter. But the prospect of life following a scene so steeped in mourning the dead is a nice ending. I hope all works out well for Martha. I like how the bond between Tom and Alex is gradually growing stronger. And I loved the little snippet of Alex in the kitchen with the help, feeling so at home. It was very sweet. As always, I can\'t wait for more!

If you are really extremely dyslexic and THIS is what you call unedited then there are a lot of people who should be really ashamed of their poor works. This is great and I relly love to read the story. This chapter (21) even made me cry and that\'s not an easy task to fullfill.
I know I\'m not really qualified to comment on spelling and grammar as I\'m not a native English/American and making a lot of mistakes myself, but when I read your author\'s note I expected the worst and after just a few lines of your story I thought: \"What the hell is she talking about? This is so much better written / spelled than most of the stories I read before.\" (which should have been a few hundred).
Well, keep on going, I\'m so excited how this will develop ^__________^

Now, this one is a hard chapter to read without not checking the website after. Drole. Good name for a horse. I like that. Again, Alex\'s dry wit cracks me up every time. “Huh, such meaning in such a tiny word.” Love it. As ever, I am patiently...Ok, that part may be a bit of a lie...waiting for more. Peppermint tea just doesn\'t seem right without pretty boy smut anymore. Hehehe.

I really love James. Devious thing isn\'t he? He adds so much to this story. This looks like it may be a long story. Not that I have any complaints about that. As ever, I can\'t wait for more. I really can\'t wait to see more on how Tom deals with being back in Baton Rouge. It should prove interesting.

Another wonderful chapter. Alex is so wise for one so young. What a wonderful dynamic you\'ve created between the four main characters (I\'m counting Sam in there, too). Thank you for posting so regularly. I look forward to reading everyday.

Whoo! I love that Alex makes Tom feel strong. I guess Alex knows, to some extent at least, how \"hard\" Tom can be. Hehehe. The characters work together so very very well. This was fantastic! And, as always, I can\'t wait for more. You have a beautiful gift.

I love Alex\'s fire. Tom needed to be slapped around a bit. I love hearing stories about Sam. Very sad, this one. And well written.

Their humor is so great. My favorite line from this chapter?: “They’re the right size to keep me from falling down.” Hehehe. I laughed so hard. I could just see the look on Tom\'s face. As always, can\'t wait for more. Peppermint tea and pretty boy smut just makes my night!

I like James more and more as time goes by. I\'m so very glad there will be a delay in finding Alex\'s uncle. Of course, I assumed there would be some sort of problem with that. And I\'m, again, so very glad! This story just gets me every time I read a new chapter. And, of course, I can\'t wait for more! (Or should I say, tomorrow?) You write so beautifully, your characters are so well rounded and believable, and the storylines you come up with just amaze me! Keep it up!
