this is really wonderful...i don\'t really know what else to add. i love how their relationship developed seemingly out of nowhere and now they\'re all emotional and feeling the love--usually this kinda bothers me, but it totally works with these two. they obviously had the friendship/caring part before the smut, so it does work, and beautifully at that. i\'m glad that colin\'s as affected by it as brendan is, his breakdown at the end was a surprise but very heartfelt. you can tell that he\'s been hit with it pretty hard. now, i can\'t wait to see how mike reacts to it all. i hope he\'s happy for them, but you just had to plant the seed of doubt by mentioning jealousy! darn you! i\'m really looking forward to your next update because this story is one of my all-time favorites. :D

Your writing style is something to be commended... It\'s so... descriptive, but it doesn\'t take away from the feel of the scene...
