Hey, hon. WOW! You're doing terrific so far. Nice, dramatic, mysterious start. You've gotten Clive's tone pretty good, and Trenton's automatic obedience, and concern for the injured boy. Oh, and the bit about needing to get past Havasnark... *nods* Very good, very observant. I'll be interested, too, to find out why she and the cats didn't show up, curious lil things that they are. Hoping this is just aomalomaly, and nothing's happened to her.
