Broke down and got an account...
Brilliant! I've been looking forward to Gavin cutting his hair for a very very long time! I had a feeling that since it was Ren's wish he'd grow it , then once Gavin tries to break free, cutting his hair would be a part of it (might also be because I have a weakness for pretty guys with short hair...)

Well, Mannix being shit is nothing new... But still , throughout the series, every time one of them brought the truth of Gavin's worth to them in his face... Even now, it's still painful to read knowing how much Gavin gave up to be something in their eyes.

Oh and of course, really really really looking forward to next chapter! Seeing what Gavin will do now that he's "awake" and Ren's reaction to the short hair!

Yes, an update! I'm so glad that you've been able to work on this story some more. It's one of my favorites. And is Gavin finally growing a pair of balls? Hallelujah! Although I'm definitely afraid of what Ren's going to do to the poor boy. But it'll be worth it in the end... right?

Wow. How totally thrilled am I to see a new chapter of this story? I am SO ecstatic!

If Gavin went much longer with his self-loathing and pity, I was going to scream. It's nice to see that he's apparently found the will or strength or whatever it was that he needed to stand up for himself and hopefully make a better life for himself.

Oh, and I think I kind of agree with the above reviewer. For some reason... and I don't really know what it is, I thought David was going to have a much larger part in this story. Maybe it was just a bad assumption? Who knows!
