What an extremely liberating chapter. Loved it! Can't wait to see what happens next! Everything feels so sunshiny and rainbowy. This is probably the most happy chapter i've read (in any of the stories that i'm currently reading) in a long time. Finally witnessing a cherishable, memorable, happy moment like this is like a breath of fresh air amongst a sea of angsty gay romances. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS CHAPTER!!!!

Ren you asshole! Oh well, you were dumped! HAHA!! I just wish he'd show more regret over his actions, although that's probably asking too much (*mumbles*foranasshole)...heehee.....love his character though, even though i hate the character of his character. what a bad personality, yet so likeable for a fiction villain. it's love/hate!

Wow! So Ren let him go,(alive). Shocker!

Interesting to see Ren as a real person.
From Gavin's POV we rarely get to see this side
of him, he is such an an enigma to Gavin.

I started reading this at 4:00 p.m. I finished at 11:50 p.m. I offer my applause. Excellent work. I just felt so bad for Gavin. And as in real life, jerks/assholes/rapists and sadists do not get their just rewards. I am assuming that David is dead, as he was on only referred to in the past tense. Thank you for sharing.

Holy Jesus, I was NOT expecting that to happen! I was so sure that Gavin would have to leave like in the middle of the night like some prisoner and be chased by guard dogs or something.

But I guess shit can still happen...

Who's to say Ren won't try something after this? Or Mannix? And what about David? Is he dead? Oh god, so many questions!

Anyway, I hope Gavin finds love. Like so badly I want to cry. As I was reading this story I was like, Oh yay, Ren loves him! Then it was like, nope, not Ren, But David might love him! Again nope, Oh but Mannix might save him! Then it all blew to shit.

Gah! I need him to find happiness and I hope this isn't the end. I hope there's more and soon cause I think this is a great intense story. You're a great writer and even though the "boy enslaved as a whore" is so played out on this site, YOUR story is unique! I haven't come upon something like this ever and I am so hooked on it. Keep it up and please continue!

Holy crap. Can we say anticlimactic? God, I thought there was going to be this huge, horrible, bloody battle. I never in a million years thought Ren would just let him go like that. It actually gives me just a little bit of respect for the man. Just a little. :)

But now what's going to happen? I hope this isn't the end!

WOW That was unexpected. I guess Ren did love him once after all and this is his way of showing it-Letting him go but still keeping his pride (but man was that harsh, very romantic and then he pulled off that shit). I'm pretty sure this isn't the ending (and really hope it isn't) and I can't wait to see what happens next! I keep wondering though... reading some other people's reviews about David not being as big a part of the story as they expected (to which I don't agree -I think he was very important in the entire plot and what drove Gavin to seek freedom-one reason to avoid ending up like David) It's what happened to me with the Gavin/Mannix thing, but I guess I was wrong... It's still makes sense if it's just about Mannix wanting Gavin to get out of the way though, so my bad :D

Well, two things are for sure, The chapter is always riveting and I'm always gasping for more!
