what an awesome story! i hope you plan on updating soon.. i've read stories that start out great only to fail miserably as they go along.. but this story was the opposite.. i went into it not expecting gold, but it kept getting better and better...i have to admit that i do have this love-hate relationship with ren...i kinda want to see it work out between them (him and gavin, i mean)

No nono nonono. I really hope the progression of the story doesn't go in the direction of Gavin being turned into a vampire. That would just shuck all of the essense of Gavin, all of the humanity that makes GoL such a great read. Good to see David but I really don't want to see any of vamp drama. Again, Gavin loses humanity, story loses grounded credibility. *sigh*
