I usually don't do this... but I don't like your story. For one, your chapters could have all been combined into at the very least two because of their shortness and the fact that you don't capitalize or even use whole words for when your characters speak doesn't say much for your writing habits. Honestly, don't butcher what could be a good story by side-stepping the simple things. I'm sorry on some small level to have to be cruel like this. I've had it done to me and I know how angry it made me.

try making a chapter w/ a guy that gives the vamp some problems (dont matter what kind)

also make a bit of background for the vamp
